NEW FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE LAWS - Webinar

Effective July 2008 - Register today to find out what you need to know!

Click here to print paper registration form

All sales of franchises are subject to state and federal regulation. On July 1, 2008 the FTC revised the Franchise Rules to require that all franchisors provide for certain disclosures to prospective franchisees.

Under the new rules, a franchisor is now required to file basic information about the franchisor, the franchised business, and the franchise agreement. This is called a Franchise Disclosure Document. The Franchise Disclosure Document replaces the former UFOC (Uniform Franchising Offer Circular) requirements. The Franchise Disclosure Document must be prepared in conformity with the new guidelines.

During this convenient luncheon webinar, Adam Siegelheim, Esq. and Cary Kvitka, Esq. will guide you through the recent trends in franchise law. They will discuss the impact of the new law on the preparation of disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and state registrations. You’ll also gain the information you need to ensure that you are in compliance with the new state and federal franchise laws.
